I chose this photo
because it fits in with my thought of railway lines from earlier in the
project, I love the way the photographer has used the idea of leading lines in
the composition of this photograph, the train tracks being in the middle of the
line at the bottom make the tracks look like they are going much further into
the distance.
I chose this photo
because similarly to the first photo I love the composition, the leading lines
have been used to pave an easy path for the eye to follow through the different
elements of the photo. The leading lines of this dirt track create a sense of
infinity similar to the first photo of the rail way tracks.
The photographer has shot
this photo from the angle that lets the leading lines trace the track
round to the sunset which would've been the main focus of the shot. The
composition of the shot looks almost panoramic as the track is used to lead
round to the main subject.
Similarly to the first and second photos that I chose,
this photographer used their leading
lines to create a sense of infinity. This is created and when the viewer looks
at the photograph their eyes are led down the road and they are made to feel as
if they will be travelling the road for all eternity. When
leading lines like these, such as roads, connect the foreground to the
background of a scene, they help to create depth which draws the viewer into
the image.
I chose this photograph because I like the way the photographer has composed the photo to use the lines as leading lines for the whole photo. The use of leading lines in this way give the photo depth and distance and make the lines seem longer and extended.
The lines of the escalator look as if they are going on
forever, these are more sets of parallel lines similar to the road markings and
the railway tracks. The leading lines create a sense of infinity with the viewer of the photograph.
