The depth in this photo is shown by the trees fading into the background and showing the side of the mountain and how the forestry disappears round the corner which from the camera angle only looks small however is a large gaping wide open space.
This image gathers its depth in the background and has a primary focus (the woman) so the leading line down the track nearest on the bottom left would guide the eye to the woman then to the track and down the continuous line to the end of the tracks that get narrower the more you get into the photograph.
The fact this photo is taken from beneath the pier gives it more depth because your eye will follow the pier deep into the photograph. The beam in the middle of the photograph is the leading line down throughout the pier.
The use of this fishing chain draws the eye down through the photo giving it depth to go to the water and boats area of the photograph. I love the composure of how the chain stretches through the length of the photo before disapearing off the side of the wall.
This image contains a lot of depth and uses the bench as a line to get depth into the photo to where the women are sitting then the bouquet of flowers is where the focus is so the eye will travel down past the bouquet of flowers down the bench panel.
This photograph uses all the lines of the motorway and the road markings of the M4 to create multiple leading lines down the photograph to show the depth of the setting. The motorway narrows down into the background to create and show depth.
