Texture Image Bank


I chose this image because I think texture is shown here on the elephants skin, the older an elephant is the more textured and dry its skin becomes.


I chose this image because the layers in the wooden stump add texture to the photo. Another textured element of this photograph would be the cracks within the wooden stump.


I chose this photograph because I think the way the wood is weaved adds texture as well as the fact that the wood is stripped.


The way these rocks are put together adds a jaggedy sharp texture to the photograph, also the fact the rocks are odd off cuts.


I think this photograph of a leaf is a good example of natural texture due to the fact that all the roots spread throughout the leaf are visible.


I think this image shows texture because the rusted chain doesn't rust evenly only certain areas show the rusty texture, another example of texture here is the cracked wooden post and the crunchy dry grass.
