Movement Work Diary

Evaluation:
My photography session on the topic 'Movement' was quite difficult due to the fact all my movement photography had to be done inside therefore I had to find sources of movement that were in buildings. During this session I discovered that I find the movement of inanimate objects very interesting for example, the way that with a small push a spinning chair can move for minutes or a slight pull and a door will swing in its frame for a length of time. Obviously any movement photographs that I took had to try and focus on moving objects or people. I really enjoyed this photography session here are some of my favorite photographs...

I chose this photograph because I adore the way you can see the water flowing and how the camera has caught the free flowing water from the taps.

I chose this photograph because I like the way all of the items from the photograph are kept and spread across the page with the movement.

Progression:
If I could carry on with this topic I probably wouldn't due to the fact I'm not a massive fan of indoor shooting unless it is still shots of people. Even so one idea for progression I did have was to work out how to shoot outdoor then shoot passers by on roads at zebra crossings and then traffic perhaps motorways etc. Another progression idea I had was that of dancers, sportsmen and human movements in general that can be captured as photographs.
