Annotated Pictures:

This photograph captures movement by the flailing of the womans skirt, the camera manages to focus on the womans face and top half of her body in order to show what the movement is

I chose this photograph because I love the way the rest of the square is blurred whereas the man on the bike is almost in focus.

This photograph is almost trickery but very cleverly catches the walking passers by while focusing on the two women in the background.

I adore this photograph due to my aforementioned love of the water movement, I like the way this splash is not an even splash but the water forms an entirely unique shape when splishing back into the pool plus it is entirely one shape not multiple.

My Definition: Movement - The changing direction of an item or person

Movement Work Diary

Evaluation:
My photography session on the topic 'Movement' was quite difficult due to the fact all my movement photography had to be done inside therefore I had to find sources of movement that were in buildings. During this session I discovered that I find the movement of inanimate objects very interesting for example, the way that with a small push a spinning chair can move for minutes or a slight pull and a door will swing in its frame for a length of time. Obviously any movement photographs that I took had to try and focus on moving objects or people. I really enjoyed this photography session here are some of my favorite photographs...

I chose this photograph because I adore the way you can see the water flowing and how the camera has caught the free flowing water from the taps.

I chose this photograph because I like the way all of the items from the photograph are kept and spread across the page with the movement.

Progression:
If I could carry on with this topic I probably wouldn't due to the fact I'm not a massive fan of indoor shooting unless it is still shots of people. Even so one idea for progression I did have was to work out how to shoot outdoor then shoot passers by on roads at zebra crossings and then traffic perhaps motorways etc. Another progression idea I had was that of dancers, sportsmen and human movements in general that can be captured as photographs.

I chose this photograph because I love the way that aside from the main focus of the photograph on the central man, other aspects of movement are also captured within this photograph e.g. the passers by are also captured.

I love this photograph because it captures the idea of natural movement and how even things that are uncontrollable natural elements can still be captured within a photograph.

I chose this photograph because I love the way the photographer has captured the form that the water has taken around the glass.

I chose this photograph because the camera has captured the odd form the water takes when forced into more water, the drop pushes the water under then bounces up bringing more water with it and creating a pyramid shape with this blob of water.

I chose this photograph because I found it incredibly interesting the way the liquid explodes out of the coca cola can due to the impact of the bullet which shot through both sides.

I chose this photograph because I found the way the previous movements of the dancer were still captured is brilliant, I love the way the frames stay still as if this is  a video.
