My photography session for Walk 1 was very interesting, the task was to shoot autumn colours and journey. These are two quite conflicting topics however I found them both relatively easy, I really enjoyed shooting autumn colours as it gave me the chance to photograph a lot of nature which I had been looking forward to. I actually really enjoyed this topic because it enabled me to think about lots of different areas of nature and the colours within them. I really enjoyed shooting journey as well as autumn colours because I feel like journey can be taken from so many angles for example nature can be used to show journey, as well as people and vehicles. A progression idea I had involving autumn colours was to focus on people with the autumn colours so people playing in leaves but also I would like to sculpt leaves using dried glue then photograph that. A progression idea involving journey would be photographs studying airports, unposed street photography of the arrivals gate and departures lounge at major airports.
